I put another fake smile on and run downstairs to find another strange face.
Do they notice my laugh is hollow?
Do they notice my soul was killed inside?
Do they notice my eyes are no longer vibrant?
I keep continuing on with this empty façade and I can&'t stop what has begun.
Do you notice that my skin is pale?
Do you notice that my smile is no longer colorful?
Do you notice that my words do not fit me?
Everyday I plaster on a numbing shell and try to please everyone.
Do I notice that my happiness is faltering?
Do I notice that I stay awake all night?
Do I notice that I keep looking back?
I walk from place to place just to see things that aren't real and try to enjoy them.
Do they really care?
Do you really know everything about me?
Do I really know what I'm doing?
